This page explains what happens to information when you visit Bookalicious. It describes how this site actually works, not a generic template.
What we collect
You can read this site without giving us anything. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a newsletter signup or a tracking pixel of our own.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access data: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. This is normal web server behaviour and is used for security and diagnosing faults.
- Comments. If commenting is enabled on an article and you leave one, WordPress stores the name, email address, and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser string. This is how WordPress works out of the box.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep the message so we can act on it.
WordPress sets cookies when you leave a comment, so the form can remember your name and email next time. If you log in to the site as an author or administrator, further cookies handle that session. Caching at the hosting layer may also set a technical cookie. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Embedded content from other sites
Articles sometimes embed things like videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, which means the third party can set its own cookies and track your interaction with the embed. We have no control over what those services collect and cannot speak for them.
Links to other sites
We link out to other websites, including some operated by the same people who run this one. Once you follow a link you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not this one.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit.
Your rights and how to use them
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. In practice the only personal data most readers ever give us is a comment or an email. Write to hello@bookalicio.us and say what you want removed and we will do it.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the updated date below will change with it.
