Bookalicious is a general interest publication. We write practical guides for people who want a straight answer without wading through filler, across the handful of subjects that touch most households: family life, health, the home and garden, artificial intelligence, mindfulness, and the money side of work and business.
Why these subjects
They are the ones people actually search for at 11pm. A parent working out whether a symptom is worth a doctor visit. Someone deciding if a smart thermostat is worth the money. A new manager trying to understand what an AI tool can genuinely do for a small team. These questions are ordinary, and they deserve better than a page of padding wrapped around one useful sentence.
How we write
- Answer first. The point of an article belongs near the top, not after nine hundred words of preamble.
- Say what is uncertain. Where evidence is thin or opinion is divided, we say so rather than picking a side for the sake of a tidy conclusion.
- No medical, legal, or financial advice. We explain how things generally work and what questions to ask. For decisions about your own health, money, or legal position, talk to a qualified professional who knows your situation.
- We link out. When another site covers something in more depth than we can, we send you there. Some of those links point to sites we are connected with, and where that is the case we are happy to say so.
