The Overwhelming of a Blogger - Marco van Hylckama Vlieg

I am no longer accepting review requests, I will continue to work with the publishers I have a good relationship with and who already pitch me regularly or have me on their ARC mailings. I will also utilize Netgalley more in the future. The reason is simple. Time has quite simply gotten away from me, and I am starting a new job in January. I will be the Assistant to Laurie McClean at the Larsen Pomada Agency, and while I will continue blogging and reviewing I take on an insane amount of books already, adding more would be unwise. Your book deserves the best attention and attention is just something I don’t have in spades at the moment. After I settle in to my new position this may change. A bit about me:

I am in my very early 30′s. I adore children’s literature. I have an amazing husband who is Dutch and works for Yahoo. I have two adorable children. I have been blogging here for four years and have been very happy doing so. I finished my YA Cyberpunk tentatively titled Mika, and am writing a contemporary comedy now. I have stories in two anthologies: unCONventional (Spencer Hill Press January 2012) and as of yet untitled YA Lit Chat anthology (October 2012). Look to the right.
