Five year blogging anniversary!

Guys. I almost forgot (ok I did forget) my five year blogging anniversary. It has been an AMAZING five years. From my very first spoiler filled review, to my new job, I have shared it all with you. Now, like always on my blog birthday I want to give back.

Leave me a comment about how you found this blog, met me, or any other anecdote about these past five years of bookish abandon and win the books picture below. Contest ends the 11th at midnight.

I believe the first time I stumbled across your blog would have to be when someone I followed on Twitter retweeted one of your blog posts. I enjoyed your posts, so, I stuck around (although I do more post lurking then commenting).

Congrats on five years of blogging, Pam. =)

I am trying to remember… I believe I found you over a year ago when you were having a giveaway for a book I was really wanted. Wish I could remember what it was! Tempest maybe? And I have been following you ever since! :)

If I remember correctly, I think I found your blog two or three years ago via twitter or someone else’s blog.

I’ve known you since before the bookalicious days. I love bookalicious though cause it is a real entity of you.

I can’t remember where I first came across your name, but I found you to be a generous person when you donated a crit for Pens for Paws! Thanks again. And I saw Ruta Sepetys speak at the LA conference–so moving!

  20. Gravatar

I often tell the story of how you rescued me from Tahoe so I could get to my mom at Stanford. #stillthankful

Gosh, I don’t even know. It just feels like you’ve always been here. I think I have a vague memory of toodling around Twitter and someone I followed mentioned you or RTed you in some way. I don’t remember what it was, but I ended up on your page and spend the next few minutes scrolling back down through your previous tweets.

Then tada! A new follower was made, and I’ve stuck around ever since.

Man, I forget, I think it was either Twitter or an external link I found off another book review blog. haha

Happy 5th blogiversary! I started following your blog since last year through facebook. Have a great new year ahead.

I ran across you on twitter somehow, which prompted me to query you. You requested a full, which made my day. :) Your request helped me keep trekking down the road to publication, which got me where I am today. Many thanks!

Congratulations to 5 wonderful blogging years!

We actually met in real life at BEA 2010 standing in line for one of the author signings. I knew your blog before, but meeting you in person just gave the blog a face, and even more of a character. I was there in my more active blogging times, and I’m working on getting back into it finally (finding time while working and attending university has been a bit difficult the last few years :( ).

  27. Gravatar

Oh my! What a wonderful stack of books you have there!

I can’t recall how we met, only that I instantly liked you. I remember, as I said the other day, that you were pregnant with the now toddler. I have always liked your book blog, your personality, your ability to gather everyone around you and hold them hypnotized with your opinions and especially your wicked awesome wit. If I could write as witty as I am, I might be almost as witty as you. ;)

Congratulations on five years and here is to five more! I mean, seriously, what would we do without you, babe?

  28. Gravatar

I found you through twitter, sorta through all the grapeline/ my fave authors and what not :) So glad I did. Congrats on 5 years!!!

  29. Gravatar

I can’t quite remember how I found you. I think through your other blog, http://bookalicious.org/. Then I started following on Twitter and reading along.

    Congratulations on five years!

I think I originally found you via Twitter, but now I can’t remember. I just know that I can always trust you to be honest and upfront about your love…or ummm…not…about any book you read. I also remember my happiness living vicariously through you when you got into publishing and then my horror at your attack by an angry rejected writer not too long after!! Here’s to another five years of your awesomeness Pam!!

  31. Gravatar

I think I found you by a google search. I was just discovering this wonderful world of book bloggers!

  32. Gravatar

I think the first time I actually met you met you was at that Tea Shop in NYC 3 going on 4 years ago this May when we all had crazy over priced tea with the crazy waitress :)

    YAY for 5 years.

  33. Gravatar

I think I found your blog either through a Google search or a blog hop/other giveaway. I have really enjoyed following you for the past 2+ years!

  34. Gravatar

Happy 5, Pamela! I found your blog through YA author Beth Kephart, who recommended it to me. She’s a big fan too. I’m now following. Thanks for the contest; Ruta Sepetys is an author I’ve been wanting to read. ARCs are extra welcome for reviews on my blog.

  35. Gravatar

    That’s great, Pam! Happy Blogoversary!

I found your blog after a certain phone call … ;)

  36. Gravatar

I was new to twitter about 2 years ago, and the first people I started following were teachers. You were conversing with one of them (Paul H.), and I started following your tweets and then the blog because of that.

I know I found you through Twitter but I can’t remember how. I may have been trawling through the brand-new-to-me-time-suck-cum-shiny-new-toy-Twitter for other book lovers. But then I clicked on your blog and it was clear you were a pretty cool person – cf any and all posts where you tell people where to get off – and you wrote reviews that made me want to read those books.

Huzzah on your five-year bloggiversary!! :)

  38. Gravatar

Happy Anniversary! I first came across your blog in Fall 2010 during BBAW. You were nice enough to stop by our little fledgling blog to say hello (thanks for the warm welcome) and I’ve been following your blog ever since. Congrats on five years and on your many accomplishments during that time! Hope your sixth year is fantastic!

  39. Gravatar

Wow, five years!!! Congrats, that’s an amazing accomplishment! I found your blog back in 2010 through another blog and have been following ever since :)

    Happy Blogoversary!

Happy Blogiversary! I found your blog about a year ago when I was looking for agents to follow on Twitter. I’m so glad I found you, not only is your Twitter feed a fount of information (and fun!), but your blog is helpful (and fun!) as well. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win these books! They are all on my wish list for 2013=)
