Pin it and Do it: Holiday Book Tree
I’m participating in Trish’s Pin It and Do It challenge. I’ll be making at least two more crafty things or delish desserts before January.
I made the book tree I pinned but with a way easier method. I didn’t have clips and all the fancy stuff. If you want a no hassle way to make a book tree, I’m posting my tutorial here.

What a nifty idea! I like your thinking Miss. Pam. I will definitely have to try this!

Very cool! I have issues with doing harm to books but I *may* grab an old ARC and do this! Thanks for sharing!

Might look for a cheap book at a library sale to try this. I think the the early release sample “arcs” (ones only a few chapters of the book) might not look right, but perhaps good to test it out.

Your book tree reminded me that my mom has an angel made out of a book.
The skirt is made like the tree (then spray painted gold) then a doll body with wings, etc. was glued on top.
It’s pretty kitschy – I think it dates to the 50s.

Very creative, I might just have to do that with some old books :)
