I was sitting here in my blogging chair reading a book to my little ones with the smell of fresh tree all around me this morning. My mother and step-father are on a plane on their way to us as I type this. I had this moment of overwhelming happiness and I realized I am incredibly blessed.

I have hot chocolate, family, books, wonderful clients, a bookish job, and some little animal buddies.

More than that I have food, shelter, and clothing.

This year, like every year since I turned sixteen and began working I picked a boy and girl from the local social services to buy for and I gave them what I hope is a good Christmas.

Thank you all for sharing my year, and my happiness. I wish the best for all of you too.

I love that you bring the holidays to someone else each year. That is so generous and sweet. I hope you have the merriest of Christmases, Pam!
