Query update
If you have queried I am all caught up except for fourteen emails that came in today after I was done. I’ll get to those tonight. If I have your partial/full I am almost caught up with that as well! Another week or so.
I now have nine clients so my inbox policy is changing. I am only going to accept/answer adult historical/paranormal romance, and adult urban fantasy queries. I have enough YA/MG on my list and will not be opening myself back up to kidlit until after the first of the year.
I am so excited about my list and the authors I have. I’m also looking forward to seeing those great romance and urban fantasy queries!

Oh, I’m guessing that I shouldn’t re-query you for a query I sent on August tenth, then, since it’s YA fantasy? Should I just wait till the new year and hope it doesn’t go into spam this time? :)

I’ve answered every query that I’ve seen come in as of last night. If you resend again today I’ll look at it.

Pam,
thanks for the update. Great to hear you had such tremendous response to your kidlit opening. All the best with those new projects.
Cheers

Well, I look forward to exploring your blog and adding to the flurry of hopeful MG submissions next year!
Hope to see you at SF Writers Conference.

I wonder if you’ll attend the North California conference October 20 in Oakland. It sounds like Kat Salazar is on the agenda, but when I try her web site, it doesn’t come up. Does she belong to the Larsen Pomada agency?
Thanks for the information.

Mary, Laurie McLean will be attending in Kat’s stead. She is no longer with the agency.
