Oh Beowulf, I also felt sad for poor Grendel, it’s his mother’s fault for making him into a monster! I wish I could also fall in love with the story of Heathcliffe and Catherine’s tragic story. I thoroughly enjoyed your book I wish I could unread, so funny! :D

I was interested in reading Modelland because I was curious to see how Tyra Banks wrote, but I do believe I will pass it up now. Loved the video too!!

Wow, you reminded me of one of my favourite childhood authors – Hans Andersen. I’d love to read his stories for the first time again; more because I can’t really remember the first time I read them, it was so long ago.
Perfume is on my November reading list; and this just makes me even more curious to read it.

I had Harry Potter on my list, too. I also agree that Frankenstein is pretty awesome — I studied it in two different courses while at University. And I can’t wait to read Shatter Me!

As for your video … I am totally dying laughing here. I want to check that book out just to be able to say that I read it, but you truly were really funny and I’ll be sending friends your way. :)

Great list! Love the mix of fairytale, classics and fantasy. I couldn’t agree more on Harry Potter. Imagine to be able to take a week off from real life and read all the Harry Potter books all at once for the first time? That comes very close to my definition of perfect bliss :-)

Oh! Mary Shelley! I can’t believe I left off authors like her and Bram Stoker, they were both a part of the handful of authors that shaped most of my teenage years. To feel that passion for books like that again, wow. I do now, but it was just so different as a teen. Loved that!

Your list rocks! I’m now going to have to read a few more books!
