It sounds like my kind of book! I never have too many spooky tales on my shelf. And I love love love the cover, with the title formed by the tree.

This has really become one of my favorite middle grade reads of the year. I love Kozlowsky’s writing and the fact he’s not afraid to shy away from darker topics with young readers. And yes, absolutely adored Juniper’s character! Just perfect! Great review!

I just reviewed this one too. I think I would have absolutely loved it as a kid – I’ve always been a fan of the quirky dark tales! :P
