Have you read her others? Looking for Alibrandi is held in such high esteem in Australia that it is a set text in schools.

The Piper’s Son was one of my most anticipated books this year and I read it as soon as my order was delivered. Melina Marchetta didn’t disappoint me – I loved this one just as much as my other favorite of hers, Jellicoe Road. So glad to know that you enjoyed reading it as well. :)
