I thought this book had some good points and a lot of laughable fun. It was a great fun read. I started off thinking it wouldn’t make it on my list of good books or books/authors to keep in mind but it did just because it made me smile and laugh and sometimes you just need an easy book that takes you back to simplicity.

Ok, read your full review now that I’m done with the book. I thought from the 2.5 star/compass rating you hated it but now that I read your review saw you thought it was ok. It wasn’t the greatest book for me but not bad. Vlad was pretty ridiculous as a villain.

I think I love the “campy horror movie” phrase in the plot summary; you have to admire an author who isn’t afraid of the word campy. :)
