Michael that’s not what I intended to say. After re-reading the paragraph I can however understand why you thought I did. Bad wording I suppose. I was comparing the compelling, totally engrossing storytelling of the games to the storytelling in the book when I made my remarks.

I feel like the gist of the sixth paragraph was “I didn’t really like this book because it’s not a video game”, which is pretty odd for a book review. :/

Nice review! Sounds like this book fits that niche of people who play the video game, but it doesn’t sound like a good stand-alone read.
