Seen this book around, never really wanted to pick it up. This review and certain things about the author have made me decide that I definitely will not choose it in the future.

Bummer! I loved the title, but hadn’t gotten around to finding out anything more about the book. I don’t think I’ll put anymore time into thinking about it.

I didn’t know the mc was a POC. I’m annoyed by books that don’t mention ethnic heritage and then throw it randomely into the middle of the book. Thanks for the honest, informative review. I just had to write a negative review and I don’t like it, but hopefully it helps authors (constructive criticsm) and keeps people from reading books they may not like. The plot did sound good so I’m disappointed to hear that it’s not too good.

Ah, you’ve articulated the issues so well! When I read it, I couldn’t connect with the MC, but I couldn’t put my finger on exactly why.

I really hate giving bad reviews, this book was like a train wreck. I didn’t like looking but I had to.

This sounds so horrible! The holes you’ve described in this book are just too huge to ignore. I won’t be reading this.
