Book List: What 3 fictional worlds do you want to hang out in?

Rebecca from Lost in Books has this cool new meme. Every week she asks us to list something from our reading. This week (I am so excited *bounce*) it’s three fictional worlds you want to hang out in. So click the image go over, get the info, write a post. I want to see what words you want to hang out in!

For me:

  • Inside the Inkworld from Inkheart. I would love to hang out with Dustfinger, and see the faeries. The world feels so amazing as you are reading the book and I have always wanted to step in.
  • Septimus Heap’s villiage. I want to walk through the Rambles and look at the castle and the Wizard Tower. I want to meet his pet dragon and drink fizzy root!
  • I want to walk through the Forest of Hands and Teeth. Just have a magical button to bring me back home when the zombie’s get too close for comfort.

I haven’t read any of these, but I love the way they sound (except maybe the zombies part LOL)! Fantasy worlds are wonderful–I need to read some more fantasy this year.

You absolutely HAVE to read Inkheart!

Looks like Katy and I have some books to put on the TBR list! I haven’t read these either, though they are on my Goodreads list to-read. Although, I need to check about book #2.

Thanks for playing this week, Pam!

By the way, I keep getting lots of comments about how awesome my new header is! I tell them it is all you. :)

I totally agree with Inkworld!! I’m not a huge Dustfinger fan though!

I haven’t read the other two books yet.

You have a beautiful blog! I thought I had visited you before but I guess this is my first time! Definitely won’t be my last!

Septimus Heap is a favorite series of mine and I seriously considered adding that to my list (which doesn’t stop at three, but I couldn’t just keep going–or, well, I could but that would defeat the purpose). It was really hard to limit the number of fictional worlds I’d like to visit, especially as I’ve gone around to see what others have said.

You do have a beautiful blog–love the wall paper!

@Julie you did probably visit before. This is a very recent redesign!

@Laura heading off to see your list now. Thanks for the compliment on my blog. My husband worked hard for a couple of weeks on this.

Love your Septimus Heap choice!! I thought about that world, but have only read the first in the series so far, so I didn’t want to choose that world only to find out in a later book that it was destroyed or something like that, LOL. But I want the magical staircase in the Wizard Tower.

I haven’t read the other two books yet (altho I have the Inkheart books), so you’ve inspired me now to get off my butt and read them. :)

Your list is quite different from mine! I’ve not read any of these, but they sound terribly fun, especially the second one. :)

I was thinking about using Inkheart too!! Love that book and will probably be re-reading it this year to refresh before I finish up the series.

The other books are on my TBR or wish list! Can’t wait to get to them!!

I agree with the first one. I would love, love, love to go into the world of Inkheart. That’s one of my very favorite books! Septimus Heap’s village would be cool too. Not so sure about The Forest of Hands and Teeth though…that could be dangerous!
