Catching Fire seems to be making quite a few best of lists. I really liked that book, but its only a second book in a series and not nearly as strong as the first book…but that’s the risk with second books I suppose.

I haven’t read any of the others on your list yet, though I have quite a few on the shelves to read!

Fabulous list, Pam! I wanted to read Dreaming Anastasia as soon as I saw it (total sucker for Romanov-related stories), but I completely forgot about it. And the book related to Grimm’s Fairy Tales sounds fantabulous. :)

Love this list! I’ve actually managed to read a few, but there are quite a few in my TBR pile. I can’t wait for the next installment in the Mortal Instruments series, even if it will be some time before it happens.

Some fantastic books on there. I have the Mortal Instruments trilogy to read over the holidays and I can not wait! Somehow I have managed to avoid spoilers, although people tell me there is a big plot twist. So I’m excited I adore plot twists and trying to see them coming.

I hadn’t heard of The Princess of the Midnight ball but it sounds wonderful, thanks for the recommendation.

Looks like we have quite a few books in common this year. I’ve got to create my post to go up once WordPress fixes whatever bug there is in the scheduled posting scenario for WP 2.9
