I love your vlogs! Great tshirt, and I like the Starbucks ornament too!

I didn’t think I would like vlogging. I don’t want to do the pretentious I have to be sexy and say everything exactly right vlogs, so me just being me on them I kinda like doing it too.

Thanks for the mention

My favorite book of the year, and coincidentally my favorite cover is Willow by Julia Hoban. The cover has a girl, but it also is the perfect metaphor for the story and I love it when the covers are reflections rather than depictions of the stories!
Great vlog
) and Merry Christmas back atcha!

Another vlog! I like the idea of doing a vlog for this type of post because putting in all the images of those covers would be a pain in the butt and it would take forever to load. So good call with the subject.
One of my least-favorite covers of the year was Going Too Far. HATE it. The Cassandra Clare books do have really kick-ass covers, but I wasn’t a fan of the books too much.

Look at you! YAY.
Love the accent too brings me right back down south
I agree with you about wanting to be able to visualize/imagine characters on your own as compared to having them laid out for you on the cover. I don’t know why I don’t struggle with that as much but agree that the element of escapism is a huge part of why I read and anything that takes away from that would be bad.
Great vlog, it’s wonderful to see you!

I’m new to commenting over here, but it was wonderful to “meet” you through a vlog. I absolutely agree with your opinion on the L.J. Smith books — the covers take away from the imagination aspect. And that girl is absolutely nothing like I imagined Kaitlyn.

Great vlog! Sometimes vlogs get too windy for me and people go on and on but I enjoyed watching yours. You didn’t do that.
It is nice to see what you look like and to “meet” you this way. I am anxious about doing a vlog myself, afraid I will be one of those long-winded people I don’t like.
I am easily distracted so this is a good possibility, lol.
I like your reasons for the covers. I was confused at first about you not liking ppl on the covers and then your faves had people on the cover until you explained why: The symbolism in Wintergirls and such.
Overall, I give your vlog an A .

That is supposed to say A plus but the plus sign did not show up.
